Office Coordinator – Detroit, MI

Legacy is seeking a full-time Office Coordinator to work across multiple properties located in Detroit, Michigan. The Office Coordinator provides outstanding service and is responsible for entering payables, maintaining point files, updating and maintaining the emergency response binder, assisting with resident relations, contracts and vendor forms. This position performs a wide range of administrative and office duties at multiple sites. The Office Coordinator is a vital part of our team and must be organized and highly detailed with the capability to track and meet deadlines. Teamwork with the ability to work within different departments and with other staff is necessary to be successful.


• Customer service oriented
• High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree or industry training preferred
• 2 or more years of related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as PHA reports, budgets, financial reports and review and/or write reports and correspondences with strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Real Estate license required within 6 months of employment
• Proficiency in MS Office products
• COS in Public Housing preferred
• Yardi experience preferred
• Must be willing to travel to various property locations to provide assistance
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
